Tips for painting Rocks

  • Look for smooth rocks. Besides outside, you can also find them at a craft store.
  • Rinse your rocks with water first and then set them out to dry
  • Have a variety of brush sizes available
  • Use acrylic paint
  • Apply 2-3 coats of paint, let each dry before another is applied
  • Cover your finished rocks with Mod Podge to protect them.
